The display of cars

A breathtaking array of splendid pre-war motor cars.

At our parties cars are displayed to their very best advantage, in a period setting. Here you'll see every type of body style including Sports, Tourer, Limosine, Speed Model, Town Sedan, Drophead Coupe, Cabriolet, Grand Prix, Spider, Brougham, Phaeton, Beetleback, Racing Tonneau, Roadster, Saloon, Sedanca de Ville and Sedanca Coupe, Shooting Break and Sunshine Saloon
These are some of the cars that entered our summer 2007 event:
- Over two dozen superb pre-war coachbuilt Bentleys, Lanchesters and Rolls-Royces, including two regal Silver Ghosts, all truely magnificent motorcars
- Continental makes including several Bugattis, Alfa Romeo, de Dion Bouton, Lancia, Citroen and Talbot Darracq
- Stylish American cars such as Buick, Packard, Essex, Ford, Overland, and Pierce Arrow

- A glittering array of almost fifty fine English sporting makes including Aston Martins, Lagondas, Alvises, MGs and Rileys, built over a twenty year period in all body styles, colours and sizes

- Rarer British makes including Star, Hands, Frazer Nash, AC, Lea Francis, Railton, Hampton, Wolseley, Sunbeam, Sandford, and Belsize, as well as popular makes such as Austin, Hillman and Rover
Guests will be journeying from over 30 counties to create this dazzling display of pre-war motorcar excellence. We even have some American guests, appearing in a suitably American motor car.
Almost all cars attending are in really first class condition, and half have been entered in the Concours d'Elegance.
Every single occupant will be dressed in period.
Every single occupant will be dressed in period.
The oldest car was built in 1903, the largest engine is 7.75 litres, the smallest car has only got three wheels, the most popular make is Bentley, and the rarest is a Hands (only one in existance). You will be given the opportunity to judge the best at the Concours d'Elegance, and contribute your vote to the winner of the Guests' Choice Trophy.
Is your car shy and lonely?
Some cars are shy and rarely go out; if your car is rarely seen at parties, this could be its best opportunity to get out into the sunshine, and be seen in public where it belongs. It will mix with cars of its own age, all of which are well brought up and extremely well behaved. One beautiful Bentley is being roused after a 30 year slumber in the garage, specially or our party.
If you have a beautiful car that spends all its time alone in the garage, take it out this summer and enjoy it!
