Everyone's talking about the Garden Party...

Bentley Motors have now confirmed their major involvement in the Jazz Age Garden Party. As well as sending important Derby Bentleys from their Heritage Collection, they will be displaying the whole range of new Bentleys, and providing a fleet of cars for guests to road test. Guests entering in pre-war cars will be sent booking forms in advance, so they can enjoy a real treat of trying out a new Bentley on wonderful Costold roads.
Bentley Cardiff have confirmed that they will also be present, with even more cars to try out...make sure you bring your driving licence!
Over 50 Derby Bentleys are already entered into the event. Many more are expected.
Laurence was recently the subject of BBC Bristol's vewrsion of Desert Island Discs, choosing of course a selection of great music from the 1930s.
Clare Teal, the UK's top female Jazz singer, has agreed to grace our party with a fantastic show on Sunday evening, backed by her own band and backing singers. You simply can't find better music than this! Listen to her show on BBC2 on Fridays at 7.00 pm.
Barry Rowe, one of the world's leading automotive artists, has most graciously agreed to produce the poster of the 2008 Jazz Age Garden Party. Barry regularly creates the artwork for Pebble Beach, and his work is an inspiration.
Now the fun starts in deciding which Derby Bentley to feature. Would Derby owners please form an orderly queue outside the Spirit of the Age office!
